70 Rider Registered For Portimao 2026 X-15 Wingfoil Series as One-Design Format Drives Accessible Racing
The Portimão 2026 X-15 Wingfoil Series is gaining rapid momentum, with 70 riders already registered and entries still open.
Built around a one-design racing format, the X-15 Class ensures all competitors race on identical equipment, removing technical advantages and placing the emphasis firmly on rider skill, tactics, and progression.
Designed to make racing more inclusive, the event is open to all abilities. Fleets will be split to create fair and competitive racing across different levels, allowing both first-time racers and experienced riders to compete in an environment suited to them.
All equipment is provided for registered sailors, lowering barriers to entry and creating a true level playing field from the moment riders step onto the water.
The X-15 Wingfoil Series continues to redefine accessibility in the sport: if you can gybe and are confident on the water, you can race.
With a strong international fleet already confirmed, Portimão 2026 X-15 Wingfoil Series is shaping up to be one of the most exciting and inclusive wingfoil racing events of the year.
Entries remain open.
