Contact Enquiries

When you submit an enquiry via our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and any details you provide in the message. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry. Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3 to prevent spam.

 

Comments

If you post a comment on the site, we collect the information shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection. An anonymised hash of your email address may be shared with Gravatar to retrieve a profile picture if you use that service. See Gravatar’s privacy policy at automattic.com/privacy.

 

Media Uploads

If you upload images to the website, please ensure they do not contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may be able to download and extract any location metadata from images published on the site.

 

3. Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Comments: If you opt in when leaving a comment, your name, email, and website are saved in cookies for one year so you do not need to re-enter them.
  • Login: If you log in to the site, cookies are set to maintain your session (2 days) and screen preferences (1 year). Selecting “Remember Me” extends login persistence to two weeks.
    reCAPTCHA: Google reCAPTCHA v3 sets cookies to assess whether form submissions are made by a human. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to collect anonymised engagement data such as pages visited, session duration, and general device information. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be processed by the following third-party services in the course of operating this site:

  • Google Analytics (anonymised engagement data)
  • Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection)
  • Gravatar (comment profile pictures, email hash only)
  • Automated spam detection service (comment moderation)

8. How Long We Retain Your Data

Comments and associated metadata are retained indefinitely to facilitate moderation and follow-up approvals.

Registered user data is retained for as long as the account remains active. Users may request deletion of their data at any time (see Section 9).

Contact form submissions are retained only for as long as necessary to respond to the enquiry.
